The IHAA, as a world governing body for horseback archery, works to create a competitive
sport which can be enjoyed at all levels: from local club participation to elite
international competition.
We aim to create a supportive community based around good sportsmanship and high levels
of horse welfare, rooted in collaborative governance and a published rulebook.
All of the IHAA major championships run the discipline of Horseback Archery Eventing (HBAE) - the combination of the three varied phases of the Tower, Raid and Hunt events. See More

The IHAA European Championships takes place every other year. The inaugural competition was held in 2017 in Lamotte-Beuvron, France, in partnership with FFE & FITE.
The Grand Prix Series is a team competition which has been running in Europe since 2014. In 2020, the World Grand Prix was run as an international team competition across 4 continents.
